Vienna’s Fantastic Artists
During the regular Stammtisch Artists’ Gatherings, you will often find local Viennese artists. Among the many regulars are De Es Schwertberger, Peter Gric, Otto Rapp, Benedetto Fellin, Luigi La Speranza, Sabina Nore, Leo Plaw and Bella Volen — not to mention the teachers and students of the Academy.

Art Collections Close By
The Kunsthistorisches Museum
A short walk down Neustiftgasse, past the Museumsquartier, will bring you to the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna’s world-renowned collection of art, with masterpieces by Raphael, Vermeer and an entire hall full of Bruegels.
The Albertina
The Albertina museum houses over 65,000 drawings, including masterworks by Michelangelo, Dürer and Bruegel. It holds regular exhibitions from its seemingly-endless Drawing and Print Collection called the Grafische Sammlung.
The Painting Gallery of the Akademie der Bildenden Künste
The ‘other’ Painting Academy in Vienna houses one of the most important works attributed to Hieronymus Bosch: The Last Judgement. This large triptych had a major impact on at least two of the academy’s former students: Arik Brauer and Ernst Fuchs.
